Louise Sneed Hill, 91, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her residence in Bridgeview, Illinois.
She was born July 13, 1933 in Adair County, to the late Porter and Leo Corbin Hamlett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Garnett Sneed in 2000, her second husband, Albert Hill in 2002, and a son, Larry Joe Hamlett in 2023; and the following siblings: Robert Lee, Russell, Bill, Tobe and Lawrence Hamlett, Corinne Kemp, Pauline Rogers and Dimple McFarland. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Sneed (Rheda) of Bridgeview, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Melanie Hamlett of Florida; one sister, Norma Jean Parnell (Joseph) of Columbia; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Jones Chapel Church with Gabe Hamlett officiating. She will be laid to rest in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. on Friday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at Jones Chapel Church.
