On Monday, Mayor Pam Hoots brought National First Responders Day to Columbia by issuing a proclamation to recognize the holiday locally. Joining her for the Proclamation where Police Chief Evan Burton, Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Roy, Dispatch Director Derrick Murphy, Deputy Dispatch Director Grant Loy, Columbia-Adair Fire Department Board President Donald Hare, Firefighter Christian Arbec, (?), and EMS Director Daryl Flatt.
