Christopher Lee Johnson, 23, of Glasgow, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 in Campbellsville as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1988 in Louisville and was the son of George Johnson and Kimberly Eldridge.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Heather Johnson in 1997.
He was a member of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene and the Kentucky National Guard 203rd Forward Support Company based in Glasgow where he was a technician for the Department of Defense.
He is survived by his father and step mother, George Johnson and Sheila Wood of Columbia; his mother, Kimberly Eldridge of Louisville; one son, Haiden Lee Johnson of Glasgow; his fiancé, Tiffany Greer of Campbellsville; four brothers, Brian Johnson of Georgia, Michael Johnson of Columbia, Robert Eldridge of Louisville and Bryan Helm of Columbia; and by five sisters, Bridgett Bailey, Lacey Helm and Beth Helm, all of Columbia, and Rachel and Christina Johnson, both of Louisville.
Funeral service is today at 1 p.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Vitis Bailey and Chaplain East officiating with burial in Bear Wallow Cemetery with military honors presented by Kentucky National Guard.
Expressions of sympathy may be in form of a donation to the trust fund for his son, Haiden. These may be left at the funeral home.
Casket bearers are Michael Johnson, Bryan Helm and Kentucky National Guardsmen.
