Phyllis Arnold, 72, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care in Lexington, KY. She was born in Columbia on September 6, 1952 to the late Curtis and Nina Breeding Sullivan.
Mrs. Arnold was member of Fairview Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, crocheting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Arnold of Columbia; two children, Angela Arnold (Temple Yardis-Arnold) of Spokane, WA and Anthony Arnold (Tiffany) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Blaire Arnold, Easton Arnold, Zac Yardis, Alexis Yardis, and Troy Yardis; three siblings Wanetta Tiller (Phillip) of Russell Springs, Nelda Dunbar of Atlanta, GA, and Carlos Sullivan of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.
Bro. Bobby Withers officiated and pallbearers were George Yarberry, Stanley Yarberry, Billy Withers, Billy Arnold, Matt Yarberry, Jay Hurt, and Jordan Withers. Honorary pallbearers were Terry and Kenny Arnold.
