Phyllis Jean Cook, 65, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday January 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY on January 31, 1959, to the late Clarence and Lillie Allene White Pike.
Phyllis was a member at Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Kenneth Cook of Columbia, KY; her son James Harold Furkin (Shay) of Springville, AL; her stepson Kenneth Michael Cook (Tina) of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren Judah Furkin, Jubilee Furkin, Skylar Hare, and Ethan Cook; two nephews Terry and Larry Pike and a special cousin Jean Underwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Ralph Hollis Pike and Gary Wayne Pike.
Funeral services were on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Redmon Cemetery.
Bro. Ralph Foster officiated, and pallbearers were Skylar Hare, Jimmy Burton, Jerry Burton, Pedro Hernandez, David Cook, and Jr. Slaydon. Honorary pallbearer was Ethan Cook.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
