Ronald Ford, 72, of Columbia, died Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:31 a.m. in Louisville.
He was born July 17, 1952 in Adair County to the late Mitchell and Estell Corbin Ford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Tarter Ford; five brothers, Donnie Ford, Gary Ford, Wenchie Ford and James Robert Ford; four sisters, Betty Greer, Mary Helm, Teresa Burton and Janet Foster; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Ronald retired from Lindsey Wilson College Maintenance Department.
Survivors include one daughter, Sabrina Ford of Columbia; two sons, Troy Ford and Jayson Ford both of Columbia; four sisters, Linda Hutchison, Eily White, Lorena Smith and Darlene Lawhorn all of Columbia; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, December 23, 2024 at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating and burial to follow.
There was no visitation at the funeral home.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
