Shannon “Catfish” Rowe, 51, of Columbia, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing and Rehab in Columbia
He was born March 20, 1973 in Adair County, to the late Haskin and Grethel Lou Estes Rowe.
Shannon professed his faith in Christ, was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Matt Bevin, former Chairman of the Adair County Republican Party, Constable for District 2, former member of the Adair County Fair Board, a member of the Adair County Jaycees for many years and was honored as a Lifetime Member of the Adair County Rescue Squad, serving as Secretary for many years.
He is survived by a host of relatives and friends
Funeral services were held Friday, July 5, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Roy officiating and burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Brandon Hitch, Jamie Cole, Shannon Sexton, Tammy Grider, Harrison Moss and Marshall Judd.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the WHAS Crusade for Children would be appreciated and can be left at the funeral home.
