Shondell M. Thorpe, 49, of Columbia, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at T.J. Health Columbia.
Shondell was born in Louisville on September 26, 1975, a daughter of the late Doris (Hoar) Foster and Larry D. Lawson.
She was a housewife.
Shondell is survived by her husband, Paul Thorpe Jr., of Columbia; a daughter, Kylie Thorpe of Columbia; a son, Bailey Cash of Columbia; three sisters, Twila Clark of Columbia, Fallon Lawson and Kiowa Perry, both of Frenchburg; two stepsisters, Amanda Foster and Bridgett Smith of Columbia; two stepbrothers, Eddie Foster of Monticello and Gary Foster of Columbia; a best friend, Tiffany Ford.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son Logan Hudson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 7 at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown with Pastor Bob McCann officiating. Vistiation will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 7 at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown and burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddi Foster, Gary Foster, Alex Burkett, Jordan Shelton, Paul A. Thorpe and Paul R. Thorpe.
