Thomas “Todd” Stotts, 82, of Breeding, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2025 at T. J. Health Columbia. He was born in Breeding on May 7, 1942 to the late Porter and Sophia Furkin Stotts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Stotts, Porter Stotts, Jr., Minnie Marie Stotts and Celystine Baker.
Thomas was a member of the Wells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Breeding. He was a former employee of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company in Louisville and the Clarksville Street Department where he retired from, then he enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, of 60 years, Linda Fletcher Stotts; a daughter, Michele Simpson (Deron) of Fisherville; two grandchildren, Shelby Nevitt and Clayton Nevitt both of Louisville; special nephews, Barry Stotts (Tammy) and Joey Murrell (Diane); a special niece, Missy Ross (Shane); along with several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Fudge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Wednesday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Bobby Withers will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Clayton Nevitt, Barry Stotts, Shane Ross, Joey Murrell, Steven Baker, and Edward Stotts.
