Tommy Cape, 67, of the Cundiff community, died Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
He was born December 4, 1956 in Adair County to the late Virgil and Mable Melson Cape. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Cape; and two sisters, Clara Alexander and Robbie McCarol. Tommy owned and operated Tommy Cape Trucking and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Dykes Cape of Cundiff; his son, Justin Cape of Cundiff; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Helm officiating and burial in Burchett Cemetery at Cundiff.
Casket bearers were Dale Flatt, Mike Flatt, Darry Flatt, Brent Baker, Stevie Helm and Deamon Spencer.
