The historic Trabue-Russell House, 201 Jamestown St., will celebrate the Christmas season with an open house Saturday, Dec. 2. There will be colonial-style decorations throughout the home, with some Victorian-style themes represented too. But if your memories were formed in the 1950s-60s,
you will want to see the yellow room with its aluminum tree and vintage toys and books. Hours are 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is no admission fee. Light refreshments will be served.
