The Columbia Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Jamestown Street/HWY 55 South, Friday night, January 3.
After making contact with operator and passenger it was found both were in possession of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.
Tyler McLean, 34, of Columbia has been charged with traffic violations as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. Passenger Jimmie Gosser, 26, of Russell Springs was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense.
Officer Elliot Smith was the arresting Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officers Jay Wilson and Tyler McKinney.
