Travis Wade Brown, 77, of Edmonton, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Green County on July 14, 1947 to the late Ted and Christine Young Brown.
Mr. Brown enjoyed working on vehicles, tinkering and watching westerns. He was a backhoe operator, plumber, electrician, working for L&S Supply and self-employed. He attended the House of Prayer Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Teddy Joe Brown; one grandson, Kendall McDonald; a son-in-law, Ronnie Harper; and brother-in-law, Ed Poynter and Buddy Knipp.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Sue Brown; two daughters, Tammy Harper of Edmonton and Debbie Cash (Steve Murphy) of Bardstown; two sons, Tim Brown (Cassandra) of Edmonton and David Brown (B.J.) of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Ellis, Dylan Cash, Madison Crawley (Kailib), Brooklyn Brown (Stone Passmore), Destiny Murphy (Trevor), Taylor Brown (Alyssa) and Travis Harper; eight great-grandchildren, Natalee Thomas, Caroline Ellis, Brayden Ellis, Weston Crawley, Evie Crawley, Paisley Murphy, Brody Murphy and Josie Brown; three brothers, Bill Brown (Rita) and Jay Brown (Rochelle) both of Edmonton and Tom Brown (Talanna) of Indiana; four sisters, Pat Poynter, Barbara Knipp, Bonnie Jessie (Bobby) and Gayle Scott (Robert), all of Edmonton.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 27, 2024 at the House of Prayer Church and burial in the House of Prayer Church Cemetery.
Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
