Timmy Burton, 54, formerly of Columbia, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ovelene Burton Sullivan and a sister, Martie Corbin.
Timmy was a well-known horse trainer.
He is survived by his wife, April Houser Burton of Columbia; two sons, Adam (Jessica) Burton and Brandon Burton all of Columbia; two daughters, Cassie Burton (Wes Hardin) of Russell Springs and Brittany Burton (Tater Ford) of Columbia; one brother, Jeff Sullivan of Columbia; one sister, Tammy Adamson of Columbia; three grandchildren, Lexi Burton, Kyleigh Hardin and Jax Burton. Several other relative and friends also survive.
Cremation has been chosen.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, April 29 from noon until 3 p.m. at the White Oak Community Church in Adair County .
