On Thursday Columbia Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a 2003 Saturn off of Burkesville Street in reference to an investigation. Columbia Police have been investigating a string of break-ins at storage units and had developed a suspect vehicle matching the vehicle.
Upon stop, items that had been reported stolen were located inside of the vehicle. Also located inside the vehicle was methamphetamine and syringes.
Arrested was Bradley Whitehead, 29, of Columbia on charges of Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Approximately three hours later a second suspect was located and arrested on Receiving Stolen Property. Larry Taylor, 36, of Columbia he was charged with Receiving Stolen Property under $500.
Both suspects were arrested by Columbia Police Department Sgt. Gary Roy and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
