(Columbia, KY.) – Trooper Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, May 10 at approximately 11:40 AM CST on Stoner Creek Rd in Taylor County. 54-year-old Carla Monday, of Liberty, was operating a westbound 2005 Saturn on Stoner Creek Rd, when she ran off the roadway, over an embankment and struck several trees. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Monday was reported missing by family members on Wednesday, May 11th after not showing up from work on Tuesday evening. She also never reported to her noon shift at Amazon.com on Tuesday.

An extensive search of the route she was known to take to work, led to the discovery of the vehicle over and down an embankment that made the vehicle difficult to see from the roadway.
Trooper Likins was assisted by family members during the search, Taylor County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
