The Columbia-Adair County Fire Department was called to 665 Marlo Campbell Road on Thursday morning at approximately 6:15 a.m. to a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a shed-style building fully engulfed in flames. The fire had spread to a nearby mobile home. Firefighters quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack on the mobile home preventing the fire from spreading any further.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. Eleven firefighters were on location for approximately two hours.
Adair County E911 Center, Adair County Ambulance Service, Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor County RECC and Kentucky Red Cross all assisted.
