Adair County Middle School FFA Wins at Competition and Holds Recognition Banquet

The Adair County Middle School FFA recently traveled to Frankfort, Kentucky to compete in a middle school FFA competition and also held their end of year banquet. 

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the middle school FFA members competed at Bondurant Middle School in Frankfort, KY placing second in the quiz bowl contest, quiz bowl members are Andrew Miller, Madison Foster, Mason Taylor, and Kylie Thorpe. Mason Taylor also placed high individual in the quiz bowl contest. As well, Mason Curry placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking. Colton Grant, Will Reynolds, Kayden Pegg, and Logan Faulkner also had awesome performances in their contest categories.

Then on Monday, April 28, 2025, the Adair County Middle School FFA held their end of year banquet. At this banquet Logan Faulkner, Colton Grant, Autumn Skellen, Emma Meagher, Bryson Lewis, and Mason Curry were recognized for public speaking. Emily Gaona, Carlos Neal, Jr. and Mia Stephens were recognized for essay writing. Mason Taylor, Andrew Miller, Madison Foster, Trinity Hancock, Jackson Rexroat, James Feese, Camden Brockman, and Karson Richard were thanked for their accomplishments in the Regional FFA Quiz Bowl and Colton Grant was recognized for receiving an SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) Grant from the Kentucky FFA Foundation for his poultry operation. As well, the following students were recognized for placing in the 4-H Forestry competition, Mason Taylor, Case Grant, Andrew Miller, Chayton Morgan, Truk Jennings, Lily Coots, Zoe McHolan, Madelyn Grant, Amelia Chumbley, Kylie Thorpe, Emma McGuffin, Will Reynolds, Ellie McGuffin, Emma Burton, Jayvion Momanyi, Addisyn Pearson, and Blaine Burton. Finally, Discovery Degrees were awarded to 8th grade agriculture students and thanks were given to the ACMS FFA Middle School Officer team.

Many of these students will attend and compete in the middle school FFA contests at the Kentucky State FFA Convention in June!
