The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marietta, Georgia, man Oct. 2 after receiving information that he was wanted in Cobb County, Georgia.
According to the sheriff’s office, Deputy Ricky Shirley located Ajuan D. Lyles, who was residing on a houseboat at Holmes Bend Marina.
Lyles was arrested on charges of making a false statement or written facts to the government and two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.
Lyles will be extradited to Cobb County to face the charges.
