The Adair County Indians and Lady Indians swept the varsity team titles at the 2026 Heartland Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Tuesday at Adair County High School.
“Hosting the Heartland Conference meet for the first time in Adair County history made last night special, and our athletes rose to the occasion,” Coach Bill Hillock said. “Our boys won their first conference title in more than 16 years, and for the first time ever, our boys and girls both won conference championships. That is a testament to their hard work and their dedication to becoming the best runners they can be.”
