The Adair County grand jury indicted Danielle Dial, 26, of Columbia, on assault, 1st degree, which stemmed from an incident on Saturday, April 26.
According to the indictment, Dial is accused of shooting Jarrett Burton, of Columbia, in the stomach using a handgun.
Dial was arrested on Monday and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Her bond is set at $25,000 cash. She will appear in court for arraignment on Tuesday, July 29, at 9 a.m.
