Betty Sue Hancock, 67, of Cane Valley, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 13, 1957 in Adair County to the late Eddie and Betty Jo Loy Compton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Compton. Betty Sue was a member of Caen Valley Christian Church and was employed by South Central Printing for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Hancock of Cane Valley; two sons, Anthony Foster (Tina) of Pueblo, Colorado and Justin Hancock (Amanda) of Cane Valley; two brothers, Tony Joe Compton (Pam) and Stephen Compton (Pam) all of Fairplay; five sisters, Rhonda Cox (Garry), Tammy Sexton (Bill), Nancy Burton (Jeff), Marsha Napier (Jim), Kathy Greer (Keith) all of Columbia; six grandchildren, Alexis Sears-Foster (Lacey), Antonio Trujillo-Foster (Monique), Hannah Foster, Shanley Hausdorfer, Alyssa Hausdorfer, Sebastian Hancock; one great-grandchild, Malcom Anthony Trujilo-Foster; her mother-in-law, Pat Hancock of Cane Valley; sister-in-law, Cindy Compton of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Cane Valley Cemetery with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating and burial to follow.
Casket bearers will be Anthony Foster, Justin Hancock, Sebastian Hancock, Tony Joe Compton, Stephen Compton and Tristan Keith.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
