The Adair County Indians boys’ volleyball team were back in action Friday night against Marion County. They ended regular season play with a 3-7 overall record in their first season. The team went 3-4 after their official opening weekend of games.
Despite having six games canceled for various reasons, the team has continued to improve. Coach Andrew Reliford hopes that more players will be interested in playing next season and the team will continue to mature.
After the varsity match, the senior team members were recognized. Seniors Carter White, Theo Bauermeister and Rodrigo Ossola were presented with awards.
The Indians will take the court again Saturday at 10 a.m. in Ohio County for the Region 1 tournament.
