Brenda Sue Stephens, 56, of Russell Springs, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Jean Waddell Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
She was born on Sunday, January 4 1970, in Chicago.
She was the daughter of Mary Ramey Stanley of Russell Springs and James Monroe Smith, who has preceded her in death.
Survivors also include two daughters, Kendra Raquelle Jackson, of Woodbine, Georgia, and Elizabeth Nikole Smith, of LaGrange; three sisters, Vicky Stanley and spouse Ervil of Columbia, Monica Hackney and spouse Mikel of Russell Springs, and Linda Smith and spouse Richard, of Russell Springs; and a brother, Hurley Smith and spouse Melissa, of Cub Run.
Five grandchildren also survive.
She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and attended Parksridge Church of God.
