Carol Ann Burchett, age 77, of Jamestown passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the home of her daughter. She was born on Thursday, February 24 1949, in Jamestown.
She was the daughter of the late Ada Mae Redmon Mann and the late Josephe Leroy Moran.
Survivors include, one daughter, Glenna Gosser, spouse Troy, of Russell Springs; one sister, Lynda Beard, of Columbia; one brother, Rickie Mann, spouse Nona, of Jamestown; one grandchild, Jennifer Cerrato, spouse Shawn; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Cardwell, spouse Cameron, and Braydon Cerrato; and a special friend, Billy Wright.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen “Slab” Burchett; a daughter, Sherry Burchett; a brother, Jimmy Moran; and brother in law J. R. Beard.
She was a retired cook in the Russell County School System and attended the Greater Hope Church in Russell Springs.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rexroat Cemetery, Jamestown.
Pallbearers were Jeff Hoover, Joey Hoover, Brad Redmon, Greg Redmon, Scotty Redmon and James Moran.
