The Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first Chamber Crawl 5K, Fun Run/Walk (or Crawl), on Saturday, April 26 at 8 a.m. at Adair County Elementary School.
This fun run or walk is open to all ages, but all participants must be registered through RunSignup, which includes a liability form. Registration is $25 and, if completed by April 11, includes event T-shirt, goody bag and bib number. Registration is available until time of the race, but they cannot guarantee a T-shirt or goody bag for late registration.
The race will begin and end at Adair County Elementary School and wind through the school campus. Once the race begins, no vehicles will be allowed so runners and walkers may experience a safe course for the race.
The overall male and female winner will receive a first place plaque and will not be eligible for age group medallion winners. Age groups for first place male and female medallion winners will be 10 and under, 11-25, 26-49, and 50 plus. Other prizes will be drawn randomly. Strollers are allowed but will start in the back. Dogs are not allowed in the race nor on the premises.
Questions can be emailed to chambercrawl5K@gmail.com or call the Chamber of Commerce at 844-232-4726.
The Chamber wants to thank Superintendent Jason Faulkner and the Board of Education for allowing them to host this 5K fun run/walk on campus.
All funds received will go toward chamber community events.
