Diane Mary Rowe, 78, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born on August 8, 1946 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late Thomas and Phyllis Carr Inman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Rowe.
Mrs. Rowe was of the Christian faith and a former grill cook at the Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two sons, Max Rowe (Karen) of Center and PJ Rowe (Rachel) of Columbia; six grandchildren, Summer, Mason and Jayden Rowe, Chastity Hammer (David), Morgan Walls (Russell) and Chelsea Harper (Jacob); seven great-grandchildren, Lee Walls, Ethan Rakes, Samuel Harper, Knox Hammer, Ridley Hammer, Mallyson Walls and Ellery Walls; two sisters, Barbara Buntin (Phil) and Janice Schmude, both of Illinois.
A Celebration of Life service will be held today, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Parnell officiating and burial in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday until time for the service.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Phipps, Jimmy Campbell, Adrian Claywell, David Sneed and Brian Benjamin. Honorary pallbearer is William Burton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Green River Animal Shelter.
