Geraldine H. Baldwin, 87, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on October 19, 1937 in Adair County, daughter of the late Walter and Martha Bryant Hadley. Geraldine retired from the Kentucky Department of Finance in Frankfort.
Geraldine is survived by one daughter, Debbie Mullins, of Columbia; two sons, Darrell (and Teri) Hudson of Lexington and Dale (and Stephanie) Hudson of Alabama; seven grandchildren, Will (and Melissa) Mullins, Jonathan (and Holly) Mullins, Brittany (and Andrew) Anstaett, Tyler (and Brianna) Hudson, Jacob (and Lucrecia) Hudson, Jeremy Hudson, and Joshua (and Autumn) Hudson; and 11 great-grandchildren. Geraldine is also survived by three sisters, Willodene Gurnow, Carol (and Jimmy) Young, and Connie (and Colby) Smith; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Hadley, Barbara Hadley, Judy Hadley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, James Austin Hudson and Richard Baldwin; and five brothers, Wendell Hadley, Winston Hadley, Cub Hadley, Terry Hadley, and Ronnie Hadley.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Scotty Hadley officiating and burial in Free Union Cemetery.
Geraldine’s pallbearers were Will Mullins, Jonathan Mullins, Brittany Anstaett, Jacob Hudson, Joshua Hudson and Jacob Mullins.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation for their care and friendship to Geraldine.
