Jeanene Marie Vomocil, 80, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at T. J. Health Columbia. She was born in Sacramento, CA on December 25, 1943, to the late Morris and Viola Armagost Dockham.
Mrs. Vomocil was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a retired Reading Specialist Teacher in California Schools. She enjoyed her dogs, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Gordon Vomocil of Columbia, KY; three children Jenny Peterson (Ed) of Edmonton, KY, Audrey Kelsch (Dawnie) of California, and Marc Coburn of California; six grandchildren Zachary, Ben, Jayden, Jonah, Ashley, and Marleigh Peterson; two great grandchildren Exander and Marcilene Peterson; a sister Susan Clark of California and several other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00-11:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
