Judith O. Russ, 84, of Russell Springs, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on Thursday, July 31, 1941, in Columbia.
She was the daughter of the late Inas Winfred “Winnie” Foley and Larry Ray Barger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Albert Russ.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Hall, of Russell Springs, and Nancy Wheat (Gary) of Russell Springs; two brothers, Ores Barger (Ronella) of Russell Springs, and Michael Barger (Adell) of Russell Springs; two grandsons, Shawn Russ and Jarrod Wheat; and three great-grandchildren, Brayden and Hazel Russ and Emmalyn Wheat.
She was a homemaker and member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Paul Barger, Jamison Barger, Michael Barger, Shawn Russ, Jarrod Wheat and Zachary Sapp. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs. Interment in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Russell Springs. Bro. Myles Wilson and Bro. Byron Vanarsdale officiated. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
