On Monday, John Buchanan, (center) the community and economic advisor for Kentucky League of Cities, visited city hall. Buchanan met with Mayor Pam Hoots to discuss economic development, housing and ongoing infrastructure improvements. He presented City Clerk Woody Sharpe with a level II excellence in city governance certificate from the KLC’s city officials training center. He also presented the city with a new KLC plaque, which will be displayed in the lobby of city hall.
