Lindle Bagby Jr, 82, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 22, 1942 in Greensburg, to the late B.L. Bagby and Dimple Blankenship Bagby.
Mr. Bagby was retired from the United States Army as a 1st Sergeant, having served in Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Smith Bagby and siblings, Jerry Bagby, Carolyn Paxton and Dixie Bishop.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Bagby of Columbia; two daughters, Diane Muncy (Tony) and April Barkes, both of Columbia; five grandchildren, Russell Jolly, Aschley Jolly, Peyton Barkes, Paris Barkes and Pax Barkes; and four great-grandchildren, Raylin Kenney, Brooks Graham, Kash Jolly and Thea Jolly.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with burial in Burkesville Cemetery with military honors.
