Luther Gordon “Buddy” Cravens, 78, of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Jewish Hospital of Louisville, KY. He was born in Columbia on January 18, 1947 to the late Luther Cravens and Deltris Bryant Cravens of Columbia who survives.
Mr. Cravens enjoyed working for J & H Implement Company doing deliveries all over the country. He also enjoyed watching old Westerns and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Terrie Wilson Cravens of Columbia; two children Brandon Cravens and Lee Ann Dial (Michael) both of Columbia; four grandchildren Noah Dial (Kyra), Alexandria Dial, Benjamin Dial, and Joshua Dial (Savannah); four great grandchildren Bethany Dial, Brinlynn Dial, Peyton Durbin, and Tucker Durbin; three sisters Shirley Tucker (Dave) and Wanda Mitchell (Steve) both of Russell Springs, and Linda Wilson of Campbellsville; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emalee Elizabeth Ann Dial; a brother-in-law, George Wilson; and a niece, Sondra Harris.
Funeral services were held Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Bro. Robert Knight officiated, and pallbearers were Joshua Dial, Noah Dial, Benjamin Dial, Brandon Cravens, Michael Dial, and Jesse Durbin.
