Adair County volleyball Head Coach Michelle Neat has been named Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association Region 5 Coach of the Year. This honor highlights her leadership and coaching abilities.
“Adair County Athletics is incredibly proud of Coach Michelle Neat for being named the 5th Region Volleyball Coach of the Year. Her dedication, leadership, and relentless drive to learn and grow in the game has made an immense impact on both her players and the program,” said Athletic Director Tyler Maskill.
“All facets of her leadership have been a direct catalyst for the remarkable rise of Adair County volleyball. We are excited to see the continued growth of the program and the standards continue to rise with Coach Neat at the helm,” he said.
Voted on by her peers, Neat received this recognition for her dedication and notable success with the program. The Lady Indians finished the season with a record of 29-8, marking the most season wins in program history. Under her leadership, players broke records and attained individual awards.
“I’m grateful to have been voted as 5th Region Coach of the Year by my peers. While it’s an incredible honor, I can’t take all the credit for our team’s success. It’s been a joint effort by our coaching staff and amazing players and the supportive fans, parents, and school administration,” said Neat. “We couldn’t do what we do without each of them, and we’re so thankful to be a part of ACVB history once again.”
Neat will be honored at the 2025 KHSAA State Tournament at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester during ceremonies between the semi-final matches on Saturday, Nov. 8.
