Phyllis Ann Fisher left this world on July 9, 2025, in Louisville at the age of 77. She was born on June 3, 1948, in Columbia to the late William and Cecil Burton Knight. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Donald Knight, Nelda Ferguson and Ronnie Knight.
Phyllis was a simple woman; she enjoyed crocheting and quilting, spending time with family and being a remarkable caregiver to her husband, Eddie.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Eddie Fisher; her son, Ed Fisher, and his wife Denise; as well as her grandchildren, Hannah and Lexie Fisher.
Phyllis is also fondly remembered by her siblings, William Knight with his wife Lana, and Eileen Bottoms; her sister’s-in-law, Wanda “Joey” Knight and Jeanette Knight; along with many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Her departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A visitation a and funeral service for Phyllis were held Monday, July 14, 2025, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, Louisville.
