Phyllis Athena Lawless, age 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at University Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on Tuesday, September 15, 1936 in Russell County.
She was the daughter of Eula Phelps Wisdom and Edwin Wisdom, who both preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Lawless, of Louisville; one sister, Nadine Snow, of Louisville; and she is survived by a host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
She was of the Church of God faith and a dental technician.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs. Visitation will be 12 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crocket Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Bro. Carter Stewart is officiating.
