Richard Cameron, 80, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 9, 1945 a son of the late Lucy (Odell) Cameron and Robert F. Cameron.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Chang) Cameron; his daughter, Wendy Whempner of Columbia; his son, Richard Allen Cameron of California; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Scott Cameron.
Care and cremation was chosen.
