Ronny Glenn Spinks, I, 76, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Warren County on August 3, 1948 to the late Morris Wayne and Zella Leon Basham Spinks.
Ronny enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon Redmon Spinks of Columbia; two sons, Ronny Spinks, II (Julie) of Columbia and Kevin Spinks (Shelly) of Scottsville; four siblings, Venitta Wilson and Randy Spinks of Brownsville, Sue Spinks of Alabama, and Bob Spinks of Florida; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Novice Davis and her husband, Bernie; and a brother-in-law, William “Dink” Wilson.
The family honored Mr. Spinks’ wishes of cremation and no services are scheduled currently.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
