Troy Allen Key of the Roley community of Adair County, the son of Thomas James Key and the late Charlette (Whittington) Allen, was born July 1, 1974, in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 51 years of age.
He was a delivery tech for Patient Aids in Campbellsville and was of the Christian Faith.
He enjoyed audiobooks, UK basketball, fishing, cooking, and making people laugh, but most of all, spending time with family.
Survivors include a daughter, Autumn Key and companion Aaron Riley; a son, Wade Key and companion Hallie Boils; three brothers and a sister, Tommy Key and wife Kathy, Timmy Key, Scott Key and wife Valerie, and Lisa Pinkston; two grandchildren, Saylor Grace Riley and Carter Bruce Riley; uncle, Chester Whittington and wife Becky; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Troy Allen Key were held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
