Viola Jessie, 82, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow
She was born April 28, 1942, in Adair County, to the late Joe Willie and Sally Mae Rogers Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Jessie, one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ricky Padgett, a daughter-in-law, Ramona Franklin and two brothers, Jim and William Franklin.
Viola was a member of White Oak Community Church and a homemaker

One daughter and son-in-law – Shelia and Tony Franklin of Columbia
One son – Tommy “Edgar” Franklin of Columbia
Two brothers – Davis Franklin (Doris) of Columbia, Woody Franklin of Russell Springs
One sister – Dolly Bragg of Columbia
11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
