The season is promising despite a few tough losses but as I tell the girls, ‘We are going through the fire now, so we can be stronger in the end,’” she said.
Neat said she was proud of the team’s leadership during the weekend tournament at Apollo and the growth of the younger players.
“I’m proud of our leaders for stepping up and taking charge both on and off the floor this weekend at the Apollo tournament. We also have young girls who are learning and growing so fast and they will be an asset to us not only this season, but for several years to come.”
The Lady Indians return to the court tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Campbellsville High School.
