Wayne Russell Werth, 56, of Breeding passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born in Aberdeen Proven Ground, Maryland on December 28, 1969, to Thomas Henry Werth and Karin Held Werth.
Mr. Werth enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working on the farm, working out at the gym and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Henry Werth of Breeding and Karin Held Werth of Clinton Township, Michigan; a daughter, Ashley Carriero (Nick) of Casco, Michigan; five grandsons, Kolton, Vanderlinden, Henry, Eli, Sawyer and Theodore Carriero; a brother, Henry Werth of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and several other friends and relatives.
In honoring Mr. Werth’s wishes, cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
