The Adair County High School Band will be hosting a Youth Colorguard Mini-Clinic this February. Practice dates will be Feb. 12 and Feb. 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Trinity Church with a performance on Feb. 14 for students to demonstrate what they have learned. The performance will be at around 6:30 between basketball games in the middle school gym.
Children from first grade through fifth grade are invited to attend the Youth Colorguard Mini-Clinic.
The entry fee will be $15 which will be paid on-site during the first day of practice. The $15 will cover the clinic practices, the performance, and a t-shirt for the student. Students can purchase their flags for an additional $15 fee so that they may keep them after the Feb. 14 performance.
For any questions, contact Adair County Band Director Jonathon Holmes at jonathon.holmes@adair.kyschools.us.
“We had around 90 kids last year, and we would like to make that more this year," Holmes stated.
