Youth compete in 4-H rabbit and poultry show

Seventeen youth from Adair, Taylor, Pulaski and Metcalfe counties participated in the annual 4-H Rabbit and Poultry Show on July 23 at the Adair County Extension Office. Walt Reichart served as judge for the event.
Youth competed in age divisions and were evaluated on their showmanship skills. All participants earned blue ribbons, and champions in each division received belt buckles. The event concluded with poultry and rabbit costume contests.
In the poultry show, Annaclair Spalding of Metcalfe County was named Cloverbud Division champion, with Jack Corray of Adair County also earning a blue ribbon. Corbin Coots of Adair County won the Junior Division championship. Other blue-ribbon recipients in the division were Will Spalding, Lynnleigh Harlan and Dolly Perry, all of Metcalfe County, and Ava Stapp of Taylor County. Kimber Hollins of Taylor County was Intermediate Division champion, while James Corray of Adair County received a blue ribbon. Paige Corray of Adair County won the Senior Division championship. Annaclair Spalding was named Best in Show.
In the rabbit show, Willa Mann of Pulaski County won the Cloverbud Division championship, while Laramie Lemmon of Adair County earned a blue ribbon. Mollie Mann of Pulaski County claimed the Junior Division championship. Blue-ribbon recipients in the division included Luke Corray of Adair County, Brooke Mackin of Taylor County and Ella Buck of Pickett County, Tennessee. Lillie Corray of Adair County won the Intermediate Division championship, and Logan Corray of Adair County earned the Senior Division championship. Laramie Lemmon was named Best in Show.
Corbin Coots of Adair County won the poultry costume contest. Other participants were Annaclair Spalding, Will Spalding, Lynnleigh Harlan and Dolly Perry. Mollie Mann of Pulaski County won the rabbit costume contest. Other participants were Willa Mann of Pulaski County, Brooke Mackin of Taylor County and Ella Buck of Pickett County, Tennessee.
