Zilpha M. Corbin, 89, of Columbia, died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing Home.
She was born June 4, 1935 in Adair County, to the late Cager Allen and Etta Wilson Richard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Ernest Corbin and a sister, Mary Perkins. She retired from Fruit of the Loom, was a member of Jones Chapel Church and enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her homemade pies.
Survivors include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Carolyn Richard, Odell and Norma Richard all of Columbia, Owen and Pat Richard of Campbellsville; three nephews James Richard, Derek Richard, Todd Richard; and two nieces, Tina Kruizenga and Tracy Serafino.
Funeral services were Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating and burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Jamie Richard, Derek Richard, Todd Richard, Karson Richard, Kaden Richard, Bode Richard, Bill Kruizenga, Ethan Carney and Chase Richard.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
