School Tax Rates for fiscal year 2015-16
The board voted to set the 2015-16 tax rate at 51.5 cents per hundred dollars for real estate and personal property, plus the .2 cents for exonerations (prior year loses), for a total of 51.7 cents per hundred dollars. The total increase was two percent.
The board voted to leave the following rates unchanged:
-motor vehicle rates at 56.3 cents per hundred
-utilities 3 percent
-aircraft, exempt
-water craft 51.7 cents per hundred
– cable, 3 percent
