The Columbia Police Department initiated a traffic stop that resulted in drug charges on Bomar Heights near Cedar Street, Friday afternoon, Aug. 7.
Operator of the vehicle, Lonnie Mann, 25, of Columbia was taken into custody on three active warrants related to previous drug charges.
Mann was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, heroin, after he was found to be in possession of suspected narcotics at the time of his arrest.
Officer Evan Burton was the arresting officer and was assisted on scene by Officer Drew Conn.
