An Adair County woman died in a single car wreck on Dunbar Hill in the Knifley community Friday and her two sisters were critically injured.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash and has not yet provided details but an obituary on stottsphelpsmcquaryfh.com states that Margaret Dunn, 85, of Knifley, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Hwy. 76 on Dunbar Hill.
Dunn, who was a passenger, died at the scene. Two other women, reported to all be sisters, were transported by ambulance to a nearby helicopter and flown out.
