Gov. Beshear announced Monday morning that restaurants and bars must close their doors by 4 p.m. (central) today. Restaurants may continue to provide carry-out and delivery but dining areas must be closed.
Beshear made the announcement during a press conference Monday morning. Governors in Ohio and Illinois made the same decision yesterday. During his announcement, Beshear said he understood the impact it would have, particularly to many small businesses owners, but the decision is necessary to “protect our people.”
