CPD arrest Adair man for drug trafficking; seize large amount of illicit drugs

Columbia police department seized a large quantity of illicit drugs and arrested three individuals last week within the city limits of Columbia.

CPD officer Josh Brockman executed a search warrant at a residence in Ashley Court and as a result of the investigation Devon Perkins, 24, of Columbia Jodessi Scholl, 21, of Columbia and Jarrod Blair, 27, of Greensburg were all subsequently arrested.

As a result of the search, CPD seized a large quantity of marijuana, 740 pills identified as Xanax bars, scales, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash.

Perkins was arrested on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 3rd degree, trafficking in marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Scholl was arrested on an outstanding parole violation warning and Blair was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Green County district court.

Officer Josh Brockman is in continuing the investigation and was assisted by officer John Dial, Sergeant Gary Roy, as well as deputy Justin Cross and deputy Brandon Hitch of the Adair County Sheriff’s office.
